Driver fatigue happens long before you fall asleep at the wheel.
Fatigue is tiredness, weariness or exhaustion and it can affect your reaction time and ability to focus on the road and traffic around them. Reduce fatigue by having plenty of sleep before you go on a long journey, stay hydrated and if you can, share the driving.
